Hey! Its year end!!!
Each December everyone around us organize the last year into
endless lists, Facebook posts on good and bad things. These lists are mainly
collected from the habit of taking New year resolution phenomenon which is
getting increased in our Indian society. People set goals based on their
desires, interests and dreams. They really, really working hard to get the
resolutions executed all at once. Setbacks are high in the speed and we need to
pause a while before we set some resolutions for 2018.
Yes. Let us do an in-depth self-appraisal before we kickstart
our 2018 with happy air.

something you need extra efforts in 2018 to make your life balanced and
fruitful.

Others:
·
Planning to involve in any clubs, NGOs, temple, church, area welfare
communities
·
Planning to donate, contribute something?
·
Other stuffs you think.
Coming up with New year resolutions.
·
Prioritize the items you derive from above assessment
·
Add what, how and why? Before you finalize a resolution. Be
realistic on setting up them.
·
Remember any goals should be SMART, in detail - specific,
measurable, achievable, realistic and time-bound.
·
Cutting down alcohol consumption is aworthy goal, but it’s not
SMART. Intake no more than two units of alcohol every other day for one month
is a SMART resolution.
Carrying out of Resolutions:
1.
Show your full interest on the goals you have listed
2.
Start Small Spilt them into small pieces
and execute
3.
Do one thing at a
time. One of
the easiest routes to failure is to have too many resolutions
4.
Letting family and friends know that you have a New Year’s
resolution that you really want to keep will act as both a safety barrier and a
saver.
5.
Seek out help whenever needed
6.
Accept the failures as failures don’t compromise
and get it as excuses. Remember excuses are always excuses.
Finally,
if you think it’s a not waste of time to make new year resolutions, keep in
mind, people who make New Year’s resolutions are ten times more
likely to achieve their goals than those who don’t.
Good Luck!
